@karenwazenb, one of the region's leading lifestyle influencers, was approached to takeover @KatsuyaUAE's Instagram page & stories to create awareness and drive people to the newly launched page. Karen was given guidelines on number and types of images that were needed, outfit and caption approvals along with a sushi making session live on stories with Chef Katsuya himself. The entire planning and activation on the day was supervised and managed by The Qode's digital team.
Within 48 hours, we were able to measure a substantial spike of new followers directly stemming from this activation and sentiment was generally well received.
The Qode took on the PR of Katsuya by Starck in April 2017 to re-launch the brand in the UAE. Following the opening of the first venue at Jumeirah Al Naseem in May 2017, The Qode has been able to secure extensive placements across print, digital, broadcast, radio and social media platforms. The restaurant and its talented Executive Chef, Gerard Ruvira have both been recognized for their exceptional culinary offering and have been nominated for multiple Media Awards within the first 6 months of Katsuya’s launch in Dubai. Having organized some exceptional Influencer events and numerous interviews and features, The Qode’s efforts have been recognized as a significant value addition to Katsuya’s growing success in the region.
Creative content was created for Dubai's Design Week this year in form of 6 "Pop Sushi" gifs.
